K-9 Classic Golf Tournament: Registration at 8 a.m., shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament will include a silent auction, raffle, 50-50 cash prize, awards for longest drive and closest to the pin. The event is to support local law enforcement’s K-9 unit. Money raised will go toward covering the long-term care of Pasco County’s retired K-9s. $75. Pasco Park Walks: The walk is hosted by Pasco County Animal Services and Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources. Bring a pet or be paired up with one from Pasco County Animal Services. Those bringing pets must have their dogs on a secure 6-foot leash with collar (no retractable/flexi leads); no prong or electronic collars, one pet per handler, bring poop bags, bring water for their own pet, and no face-to-face contact (for both pets from community and shelter pets).
