ONTARIO, OHÂ – Hudson is a 4-year-old terrier mix available for adoption at the Humane Society of Richland County in Ontario. He is the Pet Of The Week!
Hudson is a strong, energetic and stubborn dog. He was dropped into the outside playpen behind the Humane Society after hours one night with a note that explained the previous owners couldn’t care for him anymore. He was taken to the vet and treated for a fracture in one of his rear legs. Since then he has been neutered and is now happy, healthy and ready to find his forever home.Â
Hudson would do best in a home with older kids and no other male dogs and NO cats. Hudson does okay with female dogs but doesn’t get along with Male dogs too well and does not like cats. He is incredibly sweet and great with people. An applicant with experience training strong dogs would be good for Hudson, he has a hard time listening from time to time and his new owner will need to know how to work with him.
The Humane Society of Richland County is located at 3025 Park Avenue West in Ontario and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Noon to 5:00 PM and also Thursdays from Noon to 7:00 PM. Go visit Hudson and apply to adopt him or one of many animals available for adoption or fostering. If you can’t adopt at this time you can still contribute by donating pet food, toys, leashes, litter, or time to HSRC or your local Humane Society.
