Hate, What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #161

– Hey, everybody, how are you? It's Jeff Gellman of Solid K9 Training, doing my What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day Tip number 161, I wanna help some people out because I know a lot of folks in my industry, and a lot of clients that used tools

Whether you're using any type of correction on your dog, whether you're using a prong collar, whether you're using a remote/shock collar If you even say, "No," to your dog, you probably are getting some either public or private negative feedback, some negative hate Some of it's really, really bad Myself and a lot of my colleagues get actually really, really horrific amounts of emails, and comments, on our Facebook pages, we get people that try to literally just put us out of our business, you know, with their hate I want folks to understand though, if you're struggling with this, that it's okay

And the people that are doing this actually don't care about dogs, I think it's really, really important that we understand the makeup of the people that are spreading this hate, and spreading this anger, and they wanna see you really, you know, suffer And they're not doing it because they care about dogs at all, they actually don't care about dogs one bit What they're doing is, these are hateful people And they're using the dog, and they're supposed care of dogs as an excuse, sort of like a front to spread their hate So their core goal is to spread hate

That's their core goal, their core goal is not like, to help animals at all And, you know, maybe some of these folks have, you know, maybe some of these folks have like, "Yup" They'll like, sign an online petition for Korean meat dogs, and they'll spread some, you know, lost dog, you know, online fliers And they'll put a couple of dogs for adoption But they probably most likely are spreading hate in a lot of different categories of their lives

If you really research these people, if you look to their social media, you'll see that most likely, they come from a very hateful thing And it's always something different, is the excuse for spreading their hate, to justify their hate So, they enjoy being angry, they enjoy being hateful, and they enjoy wanting to make peoples' lives miserable And it's an interesting makeup of a person that does that I actually feel a little bit sorry for them, and have a little bit of empathy for folks like that

It must be a crappy way to go through life so angry, and, you know, so hateful So, if you're getting this kind of stuff, you know, it's, to me, I've been getting it for the last 12 years And, you know, it's never gonna stop There's a lot of angry people out there Don't let it get to you at all because it's not about you, it's not about the tool you're using, it's not about your dog training, it actually has nothing to do with you at all

It's all on them, it's all on them These folks are just not nice people And they really don't truly care about dogs They say they do, you know, but, you know, they don't Jeff Gellman, Solid K9 Training, wanted to throw that out there as a helpful tip 'cause a lot of my colleagues are making posts about commenting about how they've been getting attacked lately, and I just want them to know that's it's like, you know, it's gonna always happen

So, let's you get your mindset shifted a little bit And if I can help you out with that, you know I'm more than happy to do that Madly in love with all of you Jeff Gellman, Solid K9 Training, and I will talk to you soon, and I always look forward to it, truly
