free advice, What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #152

– Hey guys, Jeff Gellman, Solid K9 Training with my What Would Jeff Do? dog training Tip of the Day Tip number 152

Clover, for some reason, doesn't wanna be in the video I was talking to Joelle last night She's an intern that gonna be with me for three months And we spent some time doing personal growth, business development, overcoming fears And one of the things that cropped up about it is she's getting a lot of direct messages from people that are asking her dog training questions and she's responding to them one-on-one but it takes up a lot of her time

And she's doing it for free, which is fine But what I suggested that she does is take every question, just make it into a video Because a lot of the same questions keep cropping up so also then, what you're doing is you are not only just helping this one person but you're also helping lots of people that can then also hear the video So when you make videos for your business, no matter what business you're in, you're not just helping one person at a time, now Now you're helping lots of people

And if you want to do it for free, you're helping lots of people for free And that allows you, then, to do other things or more paid work or, if the general answer isn't enough for free, you could always turn that, then, into a one-on-one phone consult or a Skype session Remember, us as dog trainers, we make our living through information We've got thousands of free videos In fact, I'm about to do a Q and A for an hour

I'll answer over a hundred questions for free, so we do a ton of free social media I think when your doing one-on-one coaching, though, or responding to someone on a personal, one-on-one level, it becomes a little bit different But anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there for everybody, for small business owners, for my fellow dog trainers out there Help a lot of people by creating content That's the best way to help as many people as possible

And then don't feel bad about promoting it, too You know, a lot of folks, there's a lot of folks in this industry, and maybe other industries, that are like, oh, you spend a lot of time just promoting yourself It's like, well, I'm helping lots of people, though, right? So, imagine if you did an eBook and you promoted it, but it helped people raise puppies How awesome would that be? Imagine that You can help tons of people be able to raise puppies

So I just wanted to throw that out there for everybody Madly in love with you and I'll talk to you later Bye
