From Barking Hound Village: Barking Hound Village, a dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility for Atlanta’s “top dogs,” has recently undergone renovations at its Buckhead and airport locations.
These enhancements include massive upgrades to the building, such as custom designed dog suites, optimized floor plans to allow for larger play areas, installation of high-resolution webcams and completely refreshed feel and decor â all to ensure dogs are in safe and comfortable environments.
“Safety is huge for us and we want to make sure that remains paramount among all of our efforts,” says Matt Fishman, co-owner of Barking Hound Village. Fishman and partner Matt Gryder took over management in 2017 with a focus on convenience and comfort to ensure a positive experience for both of their customers: dogs and dog owners.
“Being immersed in the company for the past 18 months has been a life changing experience. I am living my life’s goal of mixing business and personal passions,” said Fishman. “The upgrades we are making â starting at the Buckhead and Airport locations â will raise the bar for dog safety and customer experience. Our love for dogs hasn’t changed, but the way we show it has.” The Airport location, which is located inside Peachy Parking’s outdoor parking lot just minutes away from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, offers a convenient “park, board and fly” option for travelers.
“We’re particularly excited about our Airport location. It’s quick and easy for our busy guests, whether frequent travelers or people who live and work in south Atlanta,” explains Matt Gryder, co-owner of Barking Hound Village. “Not only will your furry family members have a safer time, but our pet parents will appreciate the updated lobbies and webcams. We are excited to roll these features out across all locations in the near future.”
Barking Hound Village currently has six convenient locations across Atlanta, including Buckhead, Airport, Lindbergh, Poncey-Highland, and inside Ponce City Market. A seventh, full service location is set to open in Marietta during Winter of 2018.
